कारगिल युद्ध

राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग जम्मू – कश्मीर- ले कारगिल क्षेत्र से होकर गुजरता है | यहां नियंत्रण रेखा लगभग 5 किमी0 दूर है | सभी सेन चोटियों को साजो सामान पहुंचाने का यही एक रास्ता है | इस इलाके में जनसंख्या बहुत कम है, 12000-18000 फुट ऊंचे पहाड़ है जो 7-8 मैंने बर्फ से ढके रहते हैं | यहां से पाकिस्तानी अधिकृत सकालु कस्बा ज्यादा दूर नहीं है | यहां से गिलगिट को पक्की सड़क जाती है |

The National Highway passes through the Jammu-Kashmir-Le Kargil area. The Line of Control is about 5 km away. This is the only way to deliver logistic items to all the Sen peaks. The population in this area is very less, there are 12000-18000 feet high mountains which are covered by snow 7-8 I. Pakistani-occupied Sakalu town is not far from here. From here, the paved road goes to Gilgit.

इस लड़ाई की शुरुआत 8 मई 1999 ईस्वी से हुई जब हमारी सेना का एक गश्ती दल की लाइन ऑफ कंट्रोल की तरफ जाते हुए दुश्मन से मुठभेड़ हुई | इस युद्ध में पाकिस्तानी नार्दन लाइट इन्फेंट्री, स्पेशल सर्वेश ग्रुप में मुजाहिददी ने मिलकर धोखे से भारत के मास्कोहघाटी, द्रास, काकसूर, वाटर लेकर सब सेक्टर पर कब्जा जमा लिया |

The battle started on 8 May 1999, when a patrol of our army encountered the enemy while going towards the Line of Control. In this war, Mujahidadi together with the Pakistani Northern Light Infantry, Special Surveys Group, fraudulently captured the sub-sector of Maskohghati, Dras, Kaksoor and Water in India.

इनका प्रमुख उदेश राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग को काट देना था जिसे भारत का सियाचिन व लेह छेत्र से संपर्क टूट जाए |इस क्षेत्र में दो पर्वत श्रृंखलाएं यानी देवमाई व हुंजा आकर मिलती है | इसे जकशाह श्रृंखला कहते हैं |Sakadu यहां आने का आसान मार्ग इसे के द्वारा है | घुसपैठिए लाहौर वार्ता का लाभ उठाते हुए भारतीय इलाके में घुस आए और उन्होंने टाइगरहिल, तोलोलीग, गन हिल इत्यादि पर कब्जा कर लिया | यहां से इन्होंने राजमार्ग अवरुद्ध करने के लिए भारतीय सेना के काफिले पर भीषण गोलाबारी की |

Their main purpose was to cut off the national highway, which breaks the contact with Siachen and Leh region of India. In this area, two mountain ranges ie Devmai and Hunja come together. This is called the Zakashah series. The easiest way to come here is through it. The intruders entered the Indian territory taking advantage of the Lahore talks and captured Tigerhill, Tololig, Gun Hill etc. From here they fired fiercely on the convoy of the Indian Army to block the highway.

विश्व के इस कठिन युद्ध को भारतीय सेना ठीक और वायु सेना ने मिलकर सफलता से लड़ा | भारतीय थल सेना ने सावधानीपूर्वक एक के बाद एक चौकी व चोटी पर कब्जा करना शुरू किया | यह युद्ध लगभग 20 जुलाई 1999 को समाप्त हुआ |इस युद्ध में दुश्मन के 1000 से अधिक सैनिक मारे गए | जबकि भारतीय सेना के 350 सैनिक ने अपने प्राणों को मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए बलिदान कर दिया |

The Indian Army and the Air Force jointly fought this difficult war of the world with success. The Indian Army carefully began occupying one outpost and peak after another. This war ended on July 20, 1999. In this war, more than 1000 enemy soldiers were killed. While 350 soldiers of the Indian Army sacrificed their lives to protect the motherland.
