Tata Motors is going to launch its full size SUV Tata Gravitas in India soon.

According to the information, the company is about to launch this SUV in the market with 6-seater and 7-seater options, which customers can buy according to their needs. It will be an aggressive design SUV with excellent seating capacity. The company is set to launch Gravitas at the beginning of the new year. So, today we are going to tell you about the feature of this upcoming SUV and the features that are available in it.

The 6-seater variant of the Gravitas will get a Captain seat option, while the 7-seater will have a mid-row bench seat, both seats will have a rear bench seat. The Gravitas were on display at the Auto Expo 2024. Tata Motors was scheduled to launch the Gravitas during the festive season this year but the launch has been pushed ahead due to the COVID19 epidemic.

Now it is set to enter India at the beginning of the new year. It is based on the Harrier’s Omega platform and is 63 mm longer and 80 mm higher than its donor model. Meaning if you have driven a Tata Harrier, then you will understand that the Gravitas is much larger in size, although there are many similarities in both the models.

Talking about the engine and power, this SUV can be given a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that will generate maximum power of 168 PS and peak torque of 350 Nm. This engine will be equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox. A look at the interior reveals that the Gravitas have been redesigned. You will see a lot of change in its layout and dashboard. If you talk about the main features, then in this car you will get to see electronic parking brake, ivory color upholstery and door pads with hold function.

The Gravitas are designed on the OMEGARC platform. It uses the new Impact Design 2.0 Philosophy from Tata Motors. In this, customers will get a new SUV line grille, slim LED day time running light, big head lamps and projector lamps. It is designed with the Tata Buzzard concept, which was first introduced at the Geneva Motor Show 2024.

According to the information, the price of the new Tata Gravitas SUV can be 1 – 2 lakhs more than the Harrier. According to reports, it can be launched only in January 2024, although no information has been given about the launch, but it is expected that the company can announce it soon.
