They accuse the billionaire of manipulating the market.

The plaintiffs also claim that the head of Tesla violated the law by obtaining a financial gain by withholding information about his share in the company and hiding his intentions to become a board member.

The suit also says Musk bought the company’s stock with insider information.

The prosecution believes that suspending the purchase of the company due to a possibly large share of fake Twitter accounts was part of the scheme. In their opinion, this way Musk wanted to get more favorable terms or to disrupt the deal.
